Language Immersion

Richland District One Language Immersion is proud to offer Spanish, French, and Mandarin Chinese language immersion. Beginning in pre-k, students are immersed in a Spanish, French or Mandarin Chinese learning environment for approximately half of their instructional time. Language immersion students learn through an innovative, standards-based curriculum that fosters their development through dual language into self-confident learners and global citizens. The program is designed for students to achieve academic proficiency in both English and Spanish,French or Mandarin Chinese. 

Please note: Students who are currently enrolled in the Language Immersion program do not need to apply again.
